Using the process of collaborative management, the School Improvement Team, faculty and staff of Belfair Montessori Magnet Elementary School will continue to implement a quality program designed to meet the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students. We will equip students to function at their highest potential, thereby enabling them to lead full, productive, and rewarding lives.

You Must have a visable Visitor's Pass
All visitors are welcome at Belfair Montessori Magnet School. It is imperative that you MUST sign in at the office and get a Visitor's Pass before going to a classroom. This procedure guarantees the safety of our children.

Belfair Montessori Magnet School has two educational programs. There is a traditional program (Grades 4th & 5th) and a Montessori program. (3 years- 7th Grade)
We will phase out the traditional program by the 2016 - 2017 school year and be a totally dedicated Montessori magent school.

Belfair Montessori Magnet School offers a quality education to each of its 300+ students. Whether Montessori or traditional, Belfair is committed to having each child become a successful citizen. We offer a caring staff and faculty who see each child as an individual and works to have him/her reach their full potential. In addition to our core curriculum, we also offer each student the following ancillary classes: P.E., library, art, music, Jazz Ensemble, Kids' Ochestra, Spanish and computer lab. In addition to these quality programs we offer counseling, exceptional student services, SuccessMaker, tutoring, extended day, and ICARE.

Belfair Montessori Magnet School opened in 1950 as a neighborhood school. In 1985, Belfair became a Visual and Performing Arts/ Extended Day Academy. The Montessori program replaced the academy in 1996. In 2013, the school transitioned into a "dedicated" Montessori Magnet School adding a middle school component beginning with 6th grade adding a grade a year until the school has 8th grade.
